I have a 30" LCD HDTV Sharp Aquos and recently moved. Sadly it has a propiatary power cable and I lost it. I love this TV however I don't know what to do. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Thanks for any help!

PS - I know that powe cable is just a straight cable with no brick attachment. My friend lent me his cable for his 52" Sharp Aquos LCD and it works great on my TV.

Usually a replacement power cable for a desktop computer or monitor will work just fine. You can find those at retailers or the internet.

*edit* Missed that you said it's a proprietary cable.

search amazon or ebay for power cable and your tv model... it might be surprisingly easy to find, and inexpensive to boot.

Bestbuy.com has an "order parts" link at the bottom of their page. I'd be surprised if you could not order it from there.

most likely it is "large" figure 8 power cable.... like one on my 77 series TV.

if possible, take the photo of LCD TV power connector at the back and take it to any electronics shop (with exact distance between live and neutral pins)... someone there should be able to help you...

Of course if you want to spend some money, you could always go to the Sharp website and see if you can order from them. I'd do that as a last resort, though.

Yeah - I did not want to go straight to the manufacturer just yet. Was seeing if there are alternatives.
